Great athlete…outstanding route-runner…makes big plays…just starting to scratch the surface of his ability…highly productive wideout…selected by Rams in first round (6th overall) of 1999 NFL Draft. 2001: Earned second consecutive Pro Bowl berth after posting second consecutive 1,000-yard receiving season…caught 81 passes for 1,363 yards and career-high seven touchdowns…was second on Rams and eighth in NFC in receptions, led the Rams, was third in NFC and fifth in NFL in receiving yards, and second on Rams in touchdowns…had three 100-yard receiving games (including one 200-yard receiving game), led or tied for team lead in receptions eight times and led the team in receiving yards six times…led Rams in receptions and receiving yards in playoffs with 15 for 191 yards and one touchdown…is now Rams’ all-time leader in postseason receptions (37) and fourth in receiving yards (459)…had first 100-yard receiving game of the season in win over Miami 9/30, catching four passes for 111 yards and one touchdown, a 45-yard score in the fourth quarter…made season-high eight receptions for 139 yards against Tampa Bay 11/26…caught seven passes for career-high 203 yards and career-high tying two touchdowns vs. Indianapolis 12/30…of seven receptions against Colts, five were of 20 or more yards (42, 51, 21t, 46t, 21)…caught five passes in each of Rams’ three playoff games, with playoff-high 84 receiving yards and one touchdown in NFC Divisional Playoff Game against Green Bay 1/20. |
