Pro
Prototypical National Football League fullback, who has started the last
six seasons for the Packers. A Pro Bowl alternate the last two seasons.
Complements his blocking skills with above average pass-catching ability.
Played on majority of team’s special teams units for second straight season. Rushed 6 times for 11 yards and caught 21 passes for 193 yards while
seeing action in all 18 regular-season and playoff contests in 2001.
Signed a new four-year, $4.25 million contract ($1.15 million signing bonus)
in February of 2002.
College
A four-time letter winner at North Carolina (1991-94). Redshirted in
1990 as he continued rehabilitation on a high school knee injury.
Averaged better than five yards per carry (5.2) as a collegian. Carried
145 times for 750 yards and 8 touchdowns during his career, he also caught 14
passes for 97 yards. Split playing time with Malcolm Marshall each of his
final two seasons. |
