Biography:
The man known as "Big Money" has hit the Big Time. As the interior anchor of the Browns' impressive defensive line, Warren offers a potent mix of size and speed at 6-4 and 322 pounds. A quick and powerful defensive tackle, Warren has a first step that routinely beats opposing guards, forcing them back into their own backfield. His ability to disrupt plays and pressure the QB helped Cleveland post one of the better pass defenses in the league last year.

As the third selection in the 2001 NFL draft, Warren was a highly regarded talent coming out of the University of Florida. He got the league's attention in just his fourth game as a pro, when his block on Jaguars' QB Mark Brunell (after an interception) left Brunell with a concussion. That hit cost Warren $35,000, and made him something of a marked man among opponents. Despite the sudden high profile, Warren continued to excel, and the coaching staff fully expects Warren to emerge as a perennial Pro Bowl candidate in the seasons to come.

Warren's career as a Brown got off to a shaky start when 23-year old rookie showed up to the first mini-camp about 20 pounds overweight. A 15-day contract hold out followed, further dimming his prospects. Warren has also had off-field problems, since as getting busted in Pittsburgh for carrying a firearm. Despite this, the gregarious Warren has emerged as a clubhouse leader.
