| Born Aeneas Demetrius Williams in New Orleans, La…all-district most valuable player at Fortier High in New Orleans…father, Lawrence George Williams gave Williams his unusual first name to avoid saddling him, along with his brother, Achilles, with common monikers similar to his own…declined academic scholarship to Dartmouth to follow his father and brother to Southern…enrolled at Southern to pursue interest in student government, not football…freshman senator and sophomore class vice president at Southern…enrolled in graduate school when drafted by Cardinals…selected by state panel in 1998 as Arizona’s Outstanding Professional Athlete…wife Tracy holds a master’s degree of business administration in agricultural economics from the University of Illinois…licensed minister…the couple resides in Chesterfield, Mo., with daughters Saenea and Tirzah, and son Lazurus.
