| Born Marc Bulger in Pittsburgh, PA…attended Central Catholic High in Pittsburgh, PA, the same high school as future Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino…member of the National Honor Society…selected to play in Pennsylvania Big 33 Classic after passing for 1,662 yards as a senior…also played basketball and baseball…member of West Virginia Athletic Director’s Academic Honor Roll…father, James, played quarterback for Notre Dame (1970-71).
Quarterback with a lot of potential…productive in college…quick release and accurate arm…heady player, smart…signed by Rams 1/12/01…spent two weeks on Falcons’ practice squad in 2000…also spent one week on Rams’ practice squad…spent 2000 training camp with Saints…drafted by the Saints in the sixth round (168th overall) of 2000 NFL Draft. 2001: Did not see action in any contests…inactive as third quarterback for 16 regular season games and all three postseason contests. 2000: On Rams’ practice squad for one week…spent two weeks on Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad. |
