In the Rams' locker room after the game, as young Fisher was surrounded by reporters, veteran defensive tackle Tyoka Jackson looked across the room and smiled. "What the young fella did, that one play sums up this entire game and maybe this entire season for us," Jackson said. "He could have just said, 'Ohh man, they got a big play on me,' slumped his shoulders and let up on the play.

"He could have just said, 'Ohh man, they got a big play on me,' slumped his shoulders and let up on the play.

"But what did he do? He ran that boy down, pulled him down on the goal line, and two plays later, we get an interception. We overcame that one big play because of Fisher's efforts. That's how we weren't playing before, but we are now. And if we continue to play like that, we're going to get out of this 0-5 mess that we got ourselves in. But there's only one way to do it, and it's with efforts just like Travis Fisher showed us."
