On the injury front,
Tye Hill and Steven Jackson did not practice as expected. Both players have been ruled out for
Sunday. Richie Incognito was
limited in practice, participated in individual drills, and will be questionable
for Sunday. Linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa participated in all activities and should be active for Sunday’s
contest against Dallas.
n
Quarterback Marc Bulger
has two broken ribs, numbers 9 and 10, as expected is sore, and will receive
cortisone a shot on game day.
Speaking after practice, Bulger commented that it not only was sore while
participating in football activities, but that he noticed it walking and doing
everyday activities. He went on to
say even with the injury, it was not affecting his performance.
n
Steven Jackson, who
will miss at least one week with a slight groin tear, said that he was limited
to pool work and rest for the week and was looking forward to being cleared by
the medical staff. He said that he
will support rookie Brian Leonard, who will be making his first NFL start, as
much as he can in a way of advice and counsel from the sidelines.
n
Leonard Little
wouldn’t go as far as predicting a win, like wideout Isaac Bruce did on Tuesday,
but he did say that there was an attitude change and that the fans would see a
changed team on Sunday. When asked
what the biggest change was, he sited the demeanor and tempo at practice and
among the players.
