The Falcons just scored a touchdown, are up 7-0, and the Falcons are looking revived with Vick.
Carolina at 8-4 could be two games back in the home field race. But no matter how the Falcons/Panthers game turns out, this has been a great weekend for Rams fans while they wait for Monday night football.

Great Weekend for Rams
By Rams Nation's Don Ackerman

First Priority - Win Division
The Seattle Seahawks are now 1 1/2 games back after a 34-7 loss at Minnesota. Now the Rams have a cushion in the NFC West title race. With a win Monday night, the Rams will be 2 games up with 3 games left on the regular season. Next week, they can deliver the knockout blow to Seattle. Perfect!

Side Priority - Get in Playoffs
Not really on the "To Do" checklist, the Rams can secure a playoff spot with a victory Monday night. That's a good start. Great.

Second Priority - Secure Home Field
This weekend didn't help the Rams in that department. The Philadelphia Eagles beat up the Dallas Cowboys 36-10. Though tied with Saint Louis with only 3 losses, the Eagles own the tie breaker because the Eagles have only 2 NFC losses (losses to Buccaneer and Cowboys from NFC, Patriots in AFC) compared to Saint Louis' 3 NFC losses (to Giants, Seahawks, and Whiners). But the Eagles win is good because of the Seattle loss. The playoff chase for home field stays fresh on Saint Louis' mind and the Rams stay extra motivated. The Eagles still have some tough games left on their schedule at Miami (on Monday night), hosting San Francisco, then at Washington (who would love to spoil things for their rival Philly). Should be a fun race to the post-season for Philly. Bring it on!

What's Next?
After the Monday nighter in Cleveland, the Rams host Seattle and Cincinnati, then fly off to Detroit for the season finale. The Rams' season will also be interesting:

Cleveland will be motivated to fight on Monday night
The Seahawks are fighting for their playoff lives and the Rams want to avenge the 1 point loss earlier this year
The Bengals may be fighting for a playoff spot (as of today they are out)
Detroit will have nothing to lose.
This should keep the Rams on their toes (should I say hooves?).

It should be fun Monday night. I can't wait!

Ram on,
