Sam Bradford - Rams quarterback
(On the offense tonight)
"I thought things went very well tonight for the offense, coming out first drive, marching down, and scoring. That's obviously what you want to do as an offense and to come out and execute like we did, that's a great feeling."
(On how he feels his preseason went)
"I felt it was good. I felt I learned a lot. I felt like each week I got more comfortable. I felt like each week slowed down a little, so to know that I made progress each week, that's really a good feeling."
(On if he felt he put in back-to-back good performances)
"Yeah, I thought I had a good performance tonight. Obviously I understand we weren't going against their first defense tonight, but at the same time to go out there and execute the way we did as an offense, you really can't ask for much more than that."
(On the offense's tempo)
"I felt like the tempo was really good tonight. We came out in our no huddle. It's something that we wanted to do. I felt like the offense handled it very well. We got in rhythm early. We really stayed in rhythm that whole first drive."
(On if his long pass to WR Danny Amendola was where he wanted to throw the ball)
"No. He definitely helped me out. That was a great catch by Danny. He did a great job adjusting to the ball. I left it outside a little bit, but fortunately I put enough air on where he was able to make an adjustment on it and make a great play."
(On if Coach Spagnuolo called him tomorrow and told him he was the starting QB)
"If he says that then I'll handle it like I know I can, but until then I'm just going to show up and do what I can and hopefully one day I will be the starter of this team."
(On using the no huddle)
"It felt great. It's something that I'm very comfortable with obviously with the offense we ran at Oklahoma. It's something that we did a lot, so to come out in the no huddle tonight really wasn't anything that I wasn't used to. I felt very good running it."
(On if he has become accustomed to the Rams' system)
"I feel like I've improved each week. To say that I'm fully accustomed, I don't think that's true. I think it takes years for quarterbacks really know every little detail about their system, but I feel like I'm getting there and I feel like if I continue to improve, that I will be there."
(On if he is ready to be the opening day starter)
"That's not up to me. That's not my call. Whether or not I think I am, it's not up to me. It's up to our coaches. I trust what they believe. If they think I'm the guy, then I am. If not, that means I've got to work that much harder and get that much better before I am."
Adam Goldberg - Rams offensive lineman
(On gaining momentum from preseason wins)
"It's always important to have success. I think that we are excited to do what we now know we're capable of doing. We're excited. It is just the preseason, but momentum is momentum. Being able to execute is being able to execute, so we're excited to get going."
(On playing with rookie quarterback Sam Bradford)
"He does a great job. I've never been around a rookie quarterback, and he's extremely impressive. Like I said, Coach Shurmur and our coaching staff are doing an excellent job of putting him in that position where he can succeed with giving us a heads up of what the early calls will be; giving us a heads up of how we think the defense is going to adjust to our different personnel groups. Right now we're rolling and we're coming out with pretty good tempo. We're excited to keep that rolling into the regular season and see how it translates when the bullets are all live."
Rodger Saffold - Rams left tackle
(On entering the regular season)
"Oh buddy, [laughs]. I'm ready to go. I mean this is going to be exciting and we're going to get this Dome rocking man. I just can't be anymore excited than I am right now and going through the week with practice, the closer we get to it, I'm going to stay excited."
Billy Bajema - Rams tight end
(On first series offense)
"It was good, we just had the first series. We drove down the field and scored. So, that's always fun moving the ball and scoring touchdowns. It was a good series and a good win."
(On quickly moving the ball and scoring)
"Right. You know the first team comes in and we were able to go down and score. It's encouraging. It helps keep the momentum going into the Arizona game because that's what we're looking for and everybody stayed healthy for those first drives. So, it was a good outing."
(On tight ends having a bigger role)
"You know, it's a similar offense to what we had in the past but it seems tight end friendly. Tight ends get the balls in practices and games, so that's a big part of it and makes it fun."
(On Sam Bradford)
"He's just learning the offense and getting better and better every week and everyday. He's a great talent and he's just a good quarterback."
(On playing one drive)
"Against New England, we kind of did the same thing and we were able to keep it going this week. So, you know we just as a team, the quarterback and the whole deal, we're starting to believe that that's what we can go do."
