The two candidates during Monday's morning practice were wide receiver Jordan Kent and tight end Daniel Fells.
The results, as you might expect, weren't good.
Kent and the 6-foot-4, 272-pound Fells tried but it looks like the Rams will continue their search for an emergency kicker throughout training camp and hope that Brown is able to go during Saturday's preseason game against the Vikings.
Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo said that the team will wait until later in the week to gauge whether or not Brown will be able to go and if the team would need to sign a kicker for that game.
Brown made 19 of his 24 field goal attempts (79.2 percent) in 2009 and converted on all 16 of his extra-point attempts. He had a season-long 55-yard field goal against his former team, the Seahawks, in week 12.
