(On if he knew the Rams where interested in him) “Yes, I’ve known the Rams where interested and this is really exciting and I’m ready to get on the field.”
(On if the Rams had a private workout with him) “No.”
(On if he talked with the Rams at the Combine) “Yeah, I spoke with them at the Combine.”
(On what the Rams have told him about his duties here) “I’ll be at cornerback.”
(On what he thinks his strengths are) “I’m a bigger corner. I can run. I play the ball well in the air and I come up in the run support.”
(On if last year was his first year as a starter) “As a full-time starter.”
(On if he thinks he’s just scratching the surface on his potential at this point) “I feel that I have my best football ahead of me right now and I’m looking forward to showing that on the field.”
(On his drunk driving incident and if the Rams have talked to him about that) “That situation is something that I learned from. I made a mistake and I learned from it and I’m ready to move forward.”
(On if he knows any players on the Rams) “Not personally at all. I don’t know them right now but I look forward to meeting the team and getting to know them a lot better.”
(On if he has ever been to St. Louis) “Unfortunately I’ve never been to St. Louis. I’m excited to get there and get with the team and get this thing going.”
(On how he knew the Rams were interested in him) “I spoke with them in person.”
(On if he spoke with them at the Scouting Combine) “Yes.”
(On if he was surprised that he was selected so high in the draft) “I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about what could happen and I’m just really excited right now.”
(On if he is at home) “I’m at home in Youngstown, Ohio with family.”
(On how much he thinks the week of the East-West Shrine game helped his draft stock) “I felt it helped to be able to go down there. I was able to compete all week and I was able to compete well in the game and play man coverage and it was a good week. A good experience.”
