Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo is the Rams new head coach after signing a four-year deal worth just under $12 million according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Spagnuolo, 49, spent the past two seasons as the Giants defensive coordinator, and his defense was a large reason the Giants upset the unbeaten Patriots in last year's Super Bowl.

He was an Eagles defensive assistant from 1999-2006, and he had worked for Rams GM Billy Devaney back in 1993 when they both worked for the San Diego Chargers.
