It appears that Marshall Faulk will start when the Rams play the Chiefs on
Sunday. Faulk took about half the snaps in practice Friday, and coach Mike Martz
said, "He has surprised me with how he's practiced this week. He will probably
start, but we'll have to see."
Martz also said Scott Covington will be the emergency quarterback, meaning Kurt Warner will be inactive. Marc Bulger will be the backup to Jamie Martin. "Marc could play," Martz said, "but the doctors prefer that he not play."
In a roster move Friday, the Rams signed guard James Broyles from the practice squad and placed tackle Jerry Wisne on waivers. Broyles is expected to be active as the backup guard Sunday. Wisne is the fourth tackle, with Andy King being the backup tackle.
