Warner Has Broken Hand

Those harshly judging Kurt Warner's performance Sunday may change their opinion at least somewhat, now that an X-ray has revealed a slight break in his hand.

At this time it's unclear whether the break occurred during the game in Philadelphia, or possibly against the Redskins or in practice, but Warner's season may be over, as he is expected to take two or three weeks to recover.

The injury may force Jamie Martin into the starting role this Sunday in Kansas City, his second start in 2002, unless Marc Bulger's injured finger is recovered enough to practice this week.
