Rams sign wide receiver Eddie Kennison who could play Sunday against Giants.

The St. Louis Rams announced Tuesday that they had signed former Ram wide receiver Eddie Kennison to fill in for injured Drew Bennett.

Kennison knows Al Saunders' offense pretty well because he recently played in his offense in Kansas City.

A first-round pick by the Rams in 1996, Kennison was traded to the Saints after the 1998 season and played for Chicago and Denver before finding a home in Kansas City from 2002 through the 2007 season when he was released.

The Rams released thier seventh-round pick David Vobora, (Mr. Irrelevant) to free space on the roster for the signing. Vobora was signed to the practice squad causing cornerback Cornerback Darius Vinnett was released.
