Eagles 38, 49ers 17, Rams Perfect!

Last night's Philadelphia Eagle victory in San Francisco over the 49ers 38-17 was perfect! It was exactly what the Saint Louis Rams and Saint Louis Rams fans needed after Sunday's heartbreaking loss in Washington.

Why perfect? 3 reasons:

Any week the Niners lose is a good week especially in the new 4-team division. With the loss, the Whiners falls to only 2 games up with 5 to play. The Rams play the Whiners Monday night on December 30th in Saint Louis. With each Whiners loss, this game looms larger. If Saint Louis is worthy, this game might determine the division.
Next for Philadelphia is Saint Louis on Sunday. With a loss Monday night, the Eagles would have been only 1 game ahead of the New York Giants in their division and frankly getting desperate. With a victory, they are up two games, hopefully are a bit cocky, and ready for a letdown game against the Rams.
The Giants are fighting for their lives after a loss to the expansion Texans. The not-so-Giants are currently playoff contenders who next host the 6-5 Tennessee Titans. If the Titans win and the Giants think Philly is running away with the division, the Giants may give up. If the Giants give up, it opens a door to the playoffs.

So cheer up Rams fans, last night things got better.
