Rams & Steelers

On Monday night, the Rams scored a touchdown on their opening drive. It was the Rams' 5th opening touchdown-scoring drive. That leads the NFL. The Rams are tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who also have 5. Strangely enough, the Rams and Steelers have a lot in common this year.

Here's a short list:
Both were pre-season Super Bowl picks.
Both started the season poorly and were "busts."
Both have enjoyed success with backup quarterbacks.
Both are back in the playoff hunt!
Both teams will start this season's starting QB this Sunday.

One big difference, the Steelers' 5-4-1 record is good enough today for a playoff spot. The Rams' 5-5 record is currently not!

Should be fun to see how this season continues for both teams. Maybe they can meet in San Diego in January!

Ram on,
Don
