The Rams continue their search for an offensive coordinator and have interviewed two candidates to date.
Former Rams assistant coach and current Cincinnati quarterback coach Ken Zampese interviewed for the position this week. The Rams have also interviewed current Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Hue Jackson, who did not call plays for the offense until Bobby Patrino resigned after 13 games.
On the rumor front, the St. Louis Post Dispatch has reported that Linehan has had informal discussions with former Dolphins coach Cam Cameron, former Ravens head coach Brian Billick, and former Tennessee offensive coordinator Norm Chow. Former Giants coach Jim Fassel has also told various reporters that he will be speaking with the Rams about the opening, but nothing formal has been established.
The Rams have made one coaching hire this off season by adding Steve Loney as Paul Boudreau's replacement as offensive line coach. Loney worked on the same staff as Linehan in Minnesota from 2002-04 and was most recently at Drake.
