If I didn't see it or know better, I wouldn't believe it. Marshall Faulk (#28) had 235 totals yards with 4 touchdowns. Mr. MVP ran for 183 yards with 3 touchdowns and caught 7 balls for 52 yards and 1 more touchdown.

Superman does wear #28!
Faulk looked great Sunday, shows the rest of the Rams the drive they all need, and he shows no signs of slowing down. Faulk achieved Max Q.
In this game, Faulk also passed 10,000 yards. Congrats Marshall on 10,000 yards! You're amazing!! The one Marshall detractor: the pose after scoring. Marshall, you're too good for that. The pose just isn't you.
You're too classy for that lowbrow maneuver!

Touchdown-Saving Tackle

We've heard time & time again about the "Touchdown-Saving Tackle" that prevents a team from scoring. For the first time in a long time, this was the case. After running 83 yards, Travis Fisher (#22) tackled Seattle's Koren Robinson (#81) at the 2-yard line. Usually, the team simply scores quickly after getting a first and goal. In this case, it did prevent Robinson from scoring on that play but it was truly a touchdown-saving tackle because Kim Herring (#20) intercepted the ball 3 plays later. Not only did this great play save 6 points, but when Herring intercepted the ball, it killed the Seahawk's chance to get into the game. Great hustle, Travis! Thank you!

Get Well Soon Aeneas!

The low point of the game was when Aeneas Williams (#35) left the game with a broken leg. Aeneas is a team leader and I know the Rams will miss him on the field. Get well soon, Aeneas!

Sunday Ticket is the Way to Go!

On the second TV (I set up two downstairs), while I enjoyed watching the Rams were clinch victory, I was also able to see the Whiners lose their 2nd game. It's a long season and things are looking good after a disastrous start by Saint Louis.
I gotta tell you, I should have never waited to get Sunday Ticket. I think of all the games I missed, all the games could only listen to on the Internet, and all the games I saw at Mystic Lake, our local casino, or at the sports bar and I kick myself. I used to depend on ESPN's NFL PrimeTime for highlights! 2-3 minutes on my beloved Rams was not enough for this NFL addict. Now, I get my fix every Sunday. What a great thing! I shoulda done it years ago. I messed up then but I'm happy now.
