The St. Louis Rams announced today that they have signed former Bengal QB Scott Covington, to fill the hole created by Kurt Warner's pinky injury that will sideline him for up to 9 games.

The St. Louis Rams announced today that they have signed former Bengal QB Scott Covington, to fill the hole created by Kurt Warner's pinky injury that will sideline him for up to 9 games. Covington was drafted by the Bengals in 1999 out of Miami, Fl, and the 6'3 217 pound ex-Hurricane has thrown just 5 passes as a Bengal, completing 4 , all in 1999.

He was released by the Bengals August 26th, 2002, and will be the Rams third QB behind starter Jamie Martin and backup Marc Bulger.
