It’s sort of fitting that the opponent facing the 0-3 St. Louis Rams is the Dallas Cowboys, because, like Gary Cooper in “High Noon”, the Rams are all alone, in a very bad spot, with no one to count on but themselves. They are undermanned, missing key parts of their arsenal, and in a desperate situation against an invading foe.
