Rams Make Move on Defensive Line

The Rams made a move to shore up their defensive line with the signing of Jason Fisk. Fisk was signed to a 1-year contract and he is expected to be at the team's final minicamp Friday. He is in his 12th year, which he expects will be his last.

The Rams have agreed to terms with defensive tackle Jason Fisk on a 1-year contract and he is expected to be at the team's final minicamp Friday.
Fisk played last season for the Browns and is entering his 12th NFL season, which he says will be his final year.
"It's a one-year deal; this is the last one," Fisk said. "The family is staying in Davis (Calif.). I'm not going to drag them around again. I'm 99.9 percent sure on this one. Being there without the family will be rough on the kids."
Fisk is expected to provide depth at nose tackle, where Jimmy Kennedy is currently considered the starter.
He is happy, however, to be in a 4-3 defense.
"Their style fits me real well," Fisk said of the Rams. "It's very similar to Minnesota's and Tennessee's. It's like going back home after being with the Browns. No more 3-4."
