The Rams have signed two more players for their 2004 training camp roster, and will be deciding within the next 10 days which of the players they've signed will be allocated to NFL Europe.
The latest to sign are linebacker Jason McWilliams and fullback Gus Jacobs. McWilliams, from the team's training camp home of Western Illinois University, was in camp with the team last summer, only to be released Sept. 1. He was added to the practice squad late in the season.
Jacobs (6-0, 234) last played at Kentucky in 2001, and further investigation is needed to find out where he's been since then. He was not in an NFL training in either the 2002 or 2003 summers.
SEHORN UPDATE: Despite his uneven play this season, especially in the playoff loss to Carolina, safety Jason Sehorn has a chance to return to the Rams. Sehorn never fully recovered from the broken foot he sustained in the first few days of training camp, and was playing at no better than 80 percent. He will undergo additional surgery in the next few weeks.
Coach Mike Martz has said he is interested in having Sehorn back if he's healthy.
