Tennessee Titans
2013 draft picks:
1st round (10), 2(40), 3(70, 97), 4(107), 5(142), 6(202), 7 (216, 248)

It’s now Jake Locker’s team. Matt Hasselbeck is no longer with the Titans. They added a good backup signal caller in Ryan Fitzpatrick. They also landed running back Shonn Greene, wide receiver Kevin Walter and tight end Delanie Walker. The Walker addition eases the blow of losing Jared Cook. The big free agent pick up was guard Andy Levitre.

Defensively, the Titans landed two good safeties in free agency in George Wilson and Bernard Pollard.

Draft Needs
1) Cornerback
With the additions Tennessee made in free agency cornerback becomes the top need in the draft. The Titans would love to have Dee Milliner slide to them with the 10th overall pick. That’s likely not going to happen. There’s no question they can draft a very good corner at their second round slot and even with one of their two third round picks. It’s a deep year.

2) Offensive Guard
The Titans should be in position with their first pick to land one of the two top guards in the draft in Chance Warmack or Jonathan Cooper. What a pairing one of them would be with Levitre. If Tennessee waits, a quality guard will be available later on in the draft, especially if they wait and grab one in the third or fourth round.

3) Safety
The Titans need to bring in at least one safety to compliment Wilson and Pollard. Their secondary play was poor last season and addressing this position is a must for this season and their future. It’s a deep year at this position and they can find value in the mid-rounds.

4) Linebacker
Tennessee would like to build some depth and get at least one linebacker, especially the inside linebacker position.

5) Defensive Line
It’s not a great need other than to build depth, both on the inside and at defensive end. There’s a chance that Star Lotulelei or Sharrif Floyd fall to them at No. 10. If that’s the case Tennessee would have a hard time passing either one up. The same can be said for defensive end. We just have to wait and see how things play out next Thursday. Either way Tennessee will likely draft a player at each position and they could get an elite defensive lineman with that first selection.
