ST. LOUIS — Rams cornerback Ron Bartell (shoulder) was among the Rams unable to practice on Friday, which was the third straight day that the veteran couldn't go. His status for Sunday's game is up in the air.

"We won't know," Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo said. "It's just a strengthening thing. It's not a pain deal. So if we can get it strong enough, he'll go."

Bartell said that he felt about the same.

"We'll treat it as much as possible until Sunday, but right now it's a situation where I have no strength in my left arm and shoulder," Bartell said. "If I can regain the strength I'll definitely give it a go, but if not we've definitely got guys who are capable of getting the job done."

Rookie tight end Michael Hoomanawanui (ankle) is out for Sunday's game.

Bartell, King and backup running back Kenneth Darby (ribs) are listed as doubtful. Atogwe is questionable. Safety Craig Dahl (knee) and Murphy are listed as probable. Recommended Stories
